Happy Saturday friends! I hope you are all having a relaxing holiday weekend. I am thrilled that we are now entering the Christmas holiday season. It truly is the most wonderful and my favorite time of the year. With Christmas shopping, decorations popping up, and an abundance of holiday activities, the city of Nashville is already full of the holiday spirit. You can see the festivities popping up around every corner and it truly makes the city feel magical.

It can often be overwhelming navigating the busyness of the season and enjoying it to the fullest. There are also so many festive activities to chose from this time of year, it can be hard to pick. One of my favorite things to do in Nashville throughout the year is the pop up bars around town that correlate with the various holidays. The Christmas ones are my absolute favorite and I am so excited they are already coming back. This is such a fun thing to do in Nashville and it gives you a chance to try different bars around town.

I went to my first Christmas pop up bar earlier this week on my birthday. It was such a fun addition to the celebration and put me in the best festive mood. The pop up bar I went to was An Old Fashioned Christmas Bar. It is located at the Holston House hotel bar, Bar TENN. The paper made decorations on the ceiling and Let It Snow photo backdrop were my favorite additions of the bar. It was decorated beautifully to the nines.

An Old Fashioned Christmas Bar is already broadcasting holiday cheer throughout Music City. You can go enjoy live entertainment every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until Christmas Eve. The performances are 5 until 6:30 or 6:30 until 8 every Thursday through Saturday. These performance times require tickets which can be purchased online. Happy hour is from 4 until 7 every Monday through Wednesday and do not require tickets or reservations.

The bar has a variety of holiday cocktails on the menu along with traditional wines and beers. We ordered the Holly Jolly Punch Bowl. It was the perfect amount to share for up to four people. There were three of us and we all had plenty for each of us. It was the perfect festive drink and tasted like Christmas in a cup. The bar also has appetizers you can order to go with your drinks.

There are so many festive Christmas bars to check out around Nashville this year. I think they continue to get even more creative every year. Some other pop ups that I want to check out this season are Hidden Bar’s Holiday Vacation at Noelle Hotel, Snow Birds at Rare Bird, The Grinch-Themed Bar at Moxy Downtown, Saint Nicky’s, Buddy’s Bar, and Miracle Bar at Pearl Diver. There are so many to choose from and it makes the perfect activity if you need an idea of something new to do around Nashville this holiday season. I will definitely make sure to keep you all updated if I try any more of these!

Thank you all so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post and found some inspiration for some Christmas pop up bars to try around Nashville. Soak up this holiday season and take advantage of these being open. Leave a comment below letting me know if you try one of the Christmas pop ups and let me know how you liked it.
