Hello friends and happy November! One of my favorite things to do in Nashville is, no surprise, go to concerts. There are no shortage of concerts around Nashville. It is more likely than not that you could find some form of live music somewhere in the city every night of the week. If you are like me and love going to concerts, you may notice that concert ticket prices add up quick. That is why I am so excited to be sharing a free concert idea with you today called Whiskey Jam. You heard that right – free! Whiskey Jam has been hosting some of music’s best writers and artists, often before they become household names, for over 10 years. The best part is that Whiskey Jam happens twice every single week, so you will never run out of chances to make it out to a show.

During the warmer months, Whiskey Jam is performed at the outdoor stage at Loser’s Bar. During the colder months, Whiskey Jam concerts are performed indoors at Winner’s Bar right next door. These are located in a Nashville area called Midtown. This is a fun up and coming area that has plenty to explore after your concert.

Over 3,000 artists, bands and songwriters have performed the Whiskey Jam stage. Some of the most notable names being OneRepublic, Brett Eldredge, Dustin Lynch and more. I attended Whiskey Jam last month and saw Old Dominion, Frank Ray, Kassi Ashton, Greylan James and Shawn Austin. I am a huge fan of Old Dominion, so it was such a fun experience seeing them perform, for free, at an iconic Nashville place. I was also able to become a new fan of some of the up and coming artists I saw perform. It lets you see some of your favorite artists and also discover new artists that you may not be familiar with yet.

Whiskey Jam is the perfect event to go to in Nashville with your friends and enjoy live music. To add even more fun, Whiskey Jam has their own personal merchandise available for purchase at every show. They have a variety of stickers, hats and shirts. My friends and I bought the Whiskey Jam hats, as you can see pictured above. I picked the hot pink hat Whiskey Jam hat and am so happy with it. I loved being able to support their business that puts on so much weekly fun for the city of Nashville at no cost. Whiskey Jam is a 21+ event and has drinks available for purchase as well.

One of my favorite parts of going to a Nashville concert is picking out the perfect cute outfit for the occasion. Pictured above is what I chose to wear to Whiskey Jam. I wore a black Abercrombie & Fitch bodysuit underneath a Nashville fringe graphic t-shirt from Altr’d State. I paired that with some bell bottom jeans from Forever 21 with my brown cowboy boots. I also brought my black denim jacket from Old Navy to wear on top in case it got really cold. These are simple pieces, but when paired together makes a super cute concert look for any Nashville show.

Whiskey Jam was such a fun experience and definitely a Nashville must. You could go multiple times and get a new and unique show every time. You can check out their website and social medias for a schedule of shows and performers.

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you all get the chance to head out to a Whiskey Jam show and have as much fun as I did. I guarantee you will have a blast and will want to make it a weekly tradition. Check out My Instagram to see some videos of the Whiskey Jam show I attended.
