Picnic at Arrington Vineyards

Hello everyone! I am so thrilled to be sharing my first official Nashville content blog post! I am so excited to share the many things to do around the city I love, including things that will come at little to no cost. We are officially transitioning from summer to fall, but that doesn’t stop the outdoor fun in Nashville. This is the perfect time of year for a picnic at Arrington Vineyards.

Being less than 30 miles outside the city, Arrington Vineyards is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville. It is a wine vineyard co-owned by country music artist Kix Brooks. It is a stunning 95 acre property that includes 16 acres of vineyards, five tasting rooms, beautiful views, shaded picnic areas, live music on weekends, free parking, and the perfect background for photos. It is perfect for celebrating a birthday, a bachelorette party destination, a date night spot, or just having dinner with a group of friends. It truly has something for everyone, and it won’t break the bank. Arrington allows you to bring your own food to enjoy, has no cost to enter, and they have an abundance of amazing wines to purchase upon your arrival. This is the perfect place to come to get some fresh air, enjoy live music, document fun memories, and experience a Nashville hidden gem. This is exactly what my friends and I did that gave us memories we will cherish.

My friends and I started the day by going to Trader Joe’s to get all the ingredients for a delicious salad and charcuterie board. We had a variety of food, wine, and fresh flowers to perfectly complete our picnic. Getting fresh flowers was the perfect addition to the already gorgeous background for photos. We then went to Target to get a board for the charcuterie and the perfect aesthetic wine glasses. We placed all our food on the board which made it easy to transport and picture worthy. Arrington has several picnic tables but they fill up fast, so bringing a large blanket for everyone to sit on is a must. Arrington has huge fields for you to choose your perfect spot to set up your picnic.

Our picnic was made complete with the Music in the Vines playing in the background. Music in the Vines is free live jazz and bluegrass bands that play at Arrington Vineyards on weekend afternoons. It is the perfect background noise to your conversations or even an opportunity to get up and dance. You can’t leave Arrington Vineyards without taking advantage of the stunning backgrounds for all your pictures. Boost your Instagram by snapping some pictures with the beautiful setting. These will allow you to cherish your memories made for years to come.

I loved that I was able to highlight such a special place in Nashville. This is such a fun idea next time you want to venture out and try something new outside the city. Throw on your favorite floral dress, grab a picnic basket, and head to Arrington Vineyards with your friends!
